2. Hosting and server logs

This website is hosted by STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany. When the website is accessed, the hosting provider processes technically necessary connection data. This may include the IP address, time of access, requested file, transferred data volume, referrer URL, browser type, operating system and HTTP status.

Where this processing falls within our responsibility, it is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest lies in providing the website securely, reliably and without errors and in preventing misuse.

Casa Billa does not create its own access logs and does not actively evaluate the access statistics or log files provided by STRATO. STRATO states that IP addresses are stored for no more than seven days to detect and prevent attacks.

3. No cookies or audience analytics

This website itself sets no cookies and uses no audience analytics. Fonts, photographs, stylesheets and scripts are served locally. No videos or social-media plugins are embedded.

4. Optional OpenStreetMap map

The location map is initially closed and is loaded only after it is actively opened. The browser then connects to servers operated by the OpenStreetMap Foundation. In particular, the IP address, browser and device information, operating system, referrer, time and requested content may be processed. The embedded map is unloaded again when it is hidden.

Further information is available in the OpenStreetMap Foundation privacy policy. The map data is licensed under the Open Data Commons Open Database License, and attribution is shown directly in the map module.

5. External links and Airbnb

Links to the Airbnb listing are ordinary external links. The visitor leaves this website only after following such a link. The respective external provider is responsible for any subsequent processing and its privacy policy applies.

6. Contact

There is no contact form on this website. If contact is made voluntarily by email or telephone, the information provided is used solely to handle the enquiry. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where the enquiry concerns the preparation or performance of a contract, and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR in other cases.

The data is deleted once the enquiry has been fully dealt with and no statutory retention duties apply.

7. Images

Casa Billa photographs are served locally. Regional photographs of Horb, Nordstetten and the Neckar Valley Cycle Route originate from Wikimedia Commons and are used with author, source and licence information under their respective Creative Commons licences. Loading these images does not establish a connection to Wikimedia Commons.

8. Rights of data subjects

Subject to the applicable legal requirements, data subjects have rights including access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. Consent may be withdrawn at any time with future effect.

There is also a right to lodge a complaint with a data-protection supervisory authority, particularly the authority at the place of residence, workplace or alleged infringement.
